    I purposely made it so older plugin releases would not activate on CC 2022 or higher because of changes Adobe made in the plugins engine. There are compatibility issues with older plugins releases on CC 2022 or higher. So not allowing those to activate seemed to be the best solution to avoid dealing with the issues.
