It looks like an old bug has reappeared in the latest Photoshop 24.2.0 release. For now, you will need to roll Photoshop back to 24.1.1 or 23.5.4. That should fix it.  I’ll report this to Adobe…. but I can’t say when they will fix it.  See this post I put in the FB group with more details.
