That is because you clicked the option to run a batch for cutout images. The JPG file format doesn’t support transparency so it isn’t an option to save as JPG when running a batch on cutout images. You need to select the option to run the batch for non-cutout images. There are other options that are different too based on whether the images are cutouts or not.
