No, it will deactivate the old computer when you enter in the key in the plugin. Can you send a screenshot of what the error message says? Sometimes a simple computer restart will fix it – go ahead and try this first. Sometimes it’s solved with reinstalling Creative Cloud (you want to try this last since you have to uninstall all Adobe apps first to do this).
