If it’s not your GPU, then you’re probably close to running out of space when batching. Are you using a separate scratch disk? Use a separate scratch disk for Photoshop to store all its temporary files while batching, and ensure to deselect the system disk. (Photoshop defaults to the system disk and will use up that space first before going to the separate disk if they are both selected).
