Reply To: Copyright data being stripped somewhere within SPA

This is for sure Evoto’s issue to fix. They are changing the metadata formatting in a way that Photoshop can’t read it. When I open your original image in Photoshop, the copyright field shows under File>File Info in the PS menu.

When I open the post Evoto PNG, Photoshop immediately pops up a message saying it can’t read the file Info (metadata) and the data is being ignored. If you don’t see this message when you open the PNG then you probably checked the “don’t show again” checkbox. If you go into the Photoshop preferences and click the “Reset All Warning Dialogs” then you should see this message when opening the PNG. If not, then resetting the preferences will for sure make it show.

There is zero I can do about this because Photoshop itself ignores the data as it can’t read it.

See this screenshot. Tell Evoto what is going on and show this screenshot to them. Let me know what they say. I’m curios about what they say.
