No, SPA doesn’t delete any metadata. The data just isn’t transferring from the cutout into the template when SPA tells PS to copy the data over.
What deletes metadata is simply copying a cutout and putting it into a template…. which is normal. Do a test. Take a cutout a manually copy and past the cutout into any template in Photoshop. then save the image. Look at the meta data and you will see it is all gone. This is normal Photoshop operation.
What is happening is not that SPA remove ant metadata. it is that the meta data isn’t copying over from the cutout into the template file. Because the metadata gets lost normally when a cutout is putting metadata into a template, SPA has to tell Phohoshop to attempt to copy the metadata from the cutout and put the metadata into the template.
Open one of the PNG player images both pre and post Evoto in Photoshop. For both images, go to File > File Info in the Photoshop menu. Under the basic tab, near the bottom does it show the copyright field data for the files? If it shows the data in the pre Evoto file and not in the Post Evoto file then Evoto is changing the data somehow so Photoshop can’t read it. If that is the case then you really need to take it up with Evoto. Show them that Photoshop can’t ready the data and maybe they will help. If you just tell them Pixnub can’t read it then they probably won’t care, or even know what Pixnub is for that matter.
