Hi Cheryl,

I have never seen this before.

Do you have another computer you can test the exact same image files on? If so then please test that. I’d like to see if this is specific to one computer only.

If this happens with the same images on another computer then can you send me one of the images that has the issue so I can test?

If the issue happen on one of your computer but not the other then please try resetting the Photoshop preferences. If you don’t have a second computer to test then you can just do this anyway as it may fix the issue. I have seen corrupted prefs files cause lots of different strange issues so resetting the prefs is the first thing to try.

To reset the preferences, go to the Photoshop preferences and to the general section. Click the button that says “Reset Preferences on Quit”. Then restart Photoshop and try it again and let me know if that fixed it.

Please let me know and we can go from there.
