Reply To: Locking up between 450-500 images

Honestly, I really don’t know what is going on.  However, I know this is not normal because I’ve not had anyone else reporting this.

First thing I want to try is resetting the Phototshop prefererences files in PS cause a lot of strange issue. I’ve seen resetting the prefs fix numerous issue that I didn’t think it would actually fix.  I don’t know if it will fix this… but we need to try this first before doing more in depth troubleshooting.

Under the preference sin the general section, select reset preferences on quit. Then restart PS and try the batch again.

A couple of more troubleshooting steps to try.

1. If you have been running the same batch of images, then can you try another set of image?  I just want to make sure there isn’t something wrong with the image files causing issues. I’ve seen corrupted embedded color profiles in images cause EZGS to lock up before.

2. If you are not running default EZGS settings, then can you please try running with the default settings?  I have seen the :clear area outside screen” setting cause crashing in the past so if you are using that, leave it off and just run default setting to see if it still freezes.

Let me know after you have tested these these and we can proceed from there.
