We’re currently set just to run the external 1tb hard drive as the scratch disk, not the boot disk. From this, it looks like it’s not getting close to running out of space on the scratch disk? It’s just odd, it’s not doing this on SPA, which would seem to use a lot more space, and when it DOES fill the scratch disk with SPA, it gives us a different message specifically pertaining to the scratch disk. And we’ve done it this way for the last 2-3 years, however long we’ve had the mac, and it’s just never run into this before. And literally, pixnub is 99% of it’s function, it just sits if it’s not running a pixnub plugin. Actually, that’s not true, this last fall we moved PortraitPro software over to the mac to run skin smoothing automatically. That’s been a change since we ran EZGS last spring, but I can’t see how installing that software would specifically break EZGS and not affect any other adobe or pixnub functionality.
Ultimately, I’m open to whatever, you tell me what needs to be re-installed or checked or done, I just can’t find any reason this is happening, or anyone else who’s had it happen! Again, Mac is not my native tongue, so I feel out of my element here to begin with!
