The camera focal length can’t change and the camera distance to the the player can’t change. So however you accomplish that is up to you.
This question may be better for the Facebook group to get feedback from different photographers for how they handle this. We don’t shoot volume photography ourselves. We just make the software. So there may be other photographers with real world experience on the shooting side that could provide insight.
