Reply To: Adobe/Pixnub Technical Issues

I worked with an Adobe Agent for several hours yesterday. They ended the session wth not knowing how to help me to get Pixnub to work and said they would have a Supervisor call me the next morning. They called at 8:15am as promised. The Supervisor kept repeating that I needed to call Apple Care to have them assist me with installing my older/saved preferences from Time Machine. I told them that I was told that Time Machine does not save PS preferences. He wouldn’t listen and told me to contact Apple then Pixnub to resolve the problem.

Then I called Apple Care, and they said the exact thing. They can’t get PS preferences off of Time Machine. Apple Care did help me with the Creative Cloud Creator Tool. Now I need to get the preferences from my old lap top and move them to the one I am on now.  I am hoping by installing the older preferences it will stop PS from giving me so many error alerts and dialog boxes that things are not working correctly. I’ve had color shifts and files saving with the wrong color profiles. It’s really a mess.

Now I am back online with Adobe to see if they can get my older preferences on to the lap top. Then I am hoping Pixnub will work. But I am brainstorming solutions without an Engineer brain, so I could be completely wrong in this direction. I wish I could wipe it all clean and start over, but then I will lose all of my actions, brushes, plugins, etc.
