Just had the same issue installing ImageExtract, when I double clicked on it, it came up with a -2 error.  So I copied the plugin into the plug in folder in photoshop, then double clicked on it there and it installed it.  I never had to move it to there before, I would always just click on it in the downloads folder and it installed.  This happened twice this week on new macs.
