There is no way to easily modify an existing template….. unless you know how to do PS javascripting….. then you could make a script that looped through layer names, selected each layer, and made changes. But this is not something that many people will know how to do.
However, the max width of the names are already set to almost the full width of the image slots. There really isn’t room too enlarge the text without it overlapping the edges of the image slots which would be an issue if the templates are designed with the images side by side close together. When you are putting 200 images onto a template the slots are small, so the text under the slots will also be small.

If you want to create a new template layout with a different font or larger text… and even overlap it past the image borders then this is what you can do.

    1. Download the EZCOMP installer CCX file.
    2. Rename the .ccx to .zip
    3. Unzip the file.
    4. In the folder you will find a folder called layout designer
    5. In that folder you will find some PSD files that each contain 1 image slot. You can edit those files and change the text to any font and any size you want. Edit the files and save them.
    6. Rezip the folder after you made the changes.
    7. Rename the new zipped to from .zip to .ccx
    8. Double click the new ccx files and it will install
    9. Then when you use the layout designer it will use the modified files you edited when it builds the design.
This is really the only way to do it. This is how I am doing it when I setup templates with different fonts. It is actually pretty easy to do.
