    A few questions

    1. Does it always lock up on the exact same image? So for example does it always put in image 1 – 260 and lock up on image 261 every time? Or is it different each time?

    2. Regarding the scratch disk, did you check the space while it was locked up BEFPORE closing Photoshop? Or is the 250 GB you are referring to the space before you start running EZ Comp? PS will use a ton of scratch disk when batch processing hundreds of smart objects.

    3. Are you using the system drive for scratch disk? I highly recommend using only an external SSD drive for scratch disk and UNCHECKING the system drive so PS only uses the external drive. You really want to get a 1TB or higher disk as a dedicated scratch disk. Use the disk for only scratch disk and nothing else and only let PS use that disk and no other disks. I know this sounds extreme….. but it’s not. I have seen PS use over 1 TB of scratch disk space when running batches of composites. Even after if closes each composite, it never releases that scratch disk space until PS is shut down and restarted.
