Damon BellIt is technically possible. However, it would be a considerable amount of manual work in Photoshop to set up the template smart objects and layout.
Just FYI, version 2 is scheduled to be released sometime this month. So I would hold off until version 2 before diving too much into template design.
Version 2 does have a layout designer which will create layouts in a few clicks……. However, it does 5×7 or 4×5 portrait images in the auto layout designer.
Templates can also be created manually in pretty much any configuration you can think of and the program will run the template. The template in this link is an example of a template with 1:1 image slots ratios with custom graphics for the borders. You can really setup any layout you want… IF you want to spend the time and effort do create the layout.
With that said, the amount of work for custom layouts is likely more than most people want to do.
