That is normal. When you click the source or save folder button, the plugin opens a folder selection window. You are then selecting a folder, not a file. The Photoshop plugins API will not show files when using the folder selection window. That is how Adobe Programmed it.
Just select the folders you want for source and save and it will work. Don’t worry that you don’t see the files because you are not selecting the files anyway.
