The issue has nothing to do with the excel version.

The issue may or may not be the CSV. It may also be with the PSD template setup.

In the PSD, are the text layers set up as point text?  Paragraph text won’t work.

Assuming the text layers are point text, then either the CSV headers are not correct or the text layer names in the PSD are not correct.

Did you name the text layers to use the correct SPA naming which matches the CSV header names?

You can’t just use any text layer names you want. The layer names in the PSD must be one of the following layer names. No other text layer names will work.

NAME
FIRSTNAME
LASTNAME
POSITION
NUMBER
TEAMNAME
LEAGUENAME
YEAR
SCHOOLNAME
CLASS
SPATEXT1
SPATEXT2
SPATEXT3
SPATEXT4
SPATEXT5
