    Your GPU is probably turned off in the Photoshop preferences. Go to the Photoshop preferences and to the Performance section.  If “Use Graphics Processor” is turned off then turn it on.  If Photoshop keeps turning it off then PS is running into GPU compatibility issues.  That can be from an outdated driver…. or the GPU is no longer PS compatible.
