I don’t know why excel doesn’t have a native tsv save option. Apple numbers and other programs have it. In Excel, you have to choose save as “text/csv”. Then you have to change the delimited to “tab”. Then you have to manually type in the “.tsv” in the file name before pressing save. then Excel will save it correctly as a tsv.
