    Can we do a screen share?  What I have seen with this in the past is an error causes the smart object to close.  And then when it goes to save the smart object, it can’t.  It could be a corrupted font on your computer or something along those lines.  If I can watch the exact sequence I can see if it is doing the same thing I have seen in the past.

    I can be available for this in a few hours.  If not tonight then it would have to be Monday because I will not be available tomorrow.
