Resize mode XM will only resize if it is longer than the text in the template. It won’t resize if it is short than the text in the template. Is that what it is doing?  Or does it not resize text that is too long either?

Resize mode X scale if it is shorter or scale down if it is longer.  So if you need it to strtech the shorted names too then use mode X instead of XM.

Let me know if that was the issue.
