    Sorry to hear that.  As far as I know, Extend script has not been removed or changed in 24.1.  However, it has been “deprecated”.  So if something doesn’t work correctly then Adobe may not fix it.

    Good thing is you can still install CC 2022, version 23 and have both CC 2022 and CC 2023 installed.  Then just use CC 2022 for all of your automation. And you can use CC 2023 for anything else you need it for.

    I did ask Adobe recently about when they are making the new Plugins platform action recordable.  They won’t give me a timeline but say it is on their “back log”.  So as of now, there is no way to make action for anything ran from the new UXP programming system (Plugins menu). Maybe it will be an option in the future but I have no control over that.

    Anyway, just run CC 2022 for as long as you need and you should be fine.
