Please reset the Photoshop preferences. Do this in the general section of the preferences adn select reset on quit. Then restart the entire computer and try again.
If it still happens and you are on Windows then update the GPU driver to the lastest driver release from the manufacturer and try again.
Let me know after you have done these things and if it fixes it or not.
