Did you test the Face Detection in PS Liquify?  If that works the Pixnub Face Detection should work too. If the Liquify Face Detection doesn’t work then make sure to work with Adobe on getting that to work.  If you tell them you need Pixnub Face Detection to work then their tech support people are good about trying to send users back to 3rd party developers.  So if you know that the Liquify Face Detect isn’t working then try to focus on that with the tech too.
