Try resetting the Photoshop preferences. Go to the Preferences in the General section and select reset on Quit. Then restart the entire computer after resetting the preferences. Then try again and let me know.
Sometimes the prefs files get corrupted and cause strange issues in the plugin runtime engine. I’ll give this a 35% chance to fix it… so maybe but maybe not.
