I may be adding a similar workflow to what you are describing. I have a bunch of things I’m considering for 7.1 but really needed the extra panel space to add the option. I also didn’t want to hold back the 7.0 release. It may be a few months for 7.1 as I plan on working on it after the bust August-Sepetember rush.
