When you are adding the custom player image, you must use the option for non-cutouts. This will use the Select Subject tool to find the edges. If you don’t use this option then it thinks the image is a cutout and uses the edge of the transparency which would just be the canvas edges since nothing is cutout.
Also, when you run the batch you must select the option to use Select Subject for the player edges. If you don’t select that then the batch will just use transparency edges, which again won’t work if the images are not cut out.
