If it is just a team without a player then you need to use use the Add Player Group. SPA requires a player group to run. The team group is only for memory mates when thee is also a player. So for team only, use the player slot.
I would use player mode 9 or 10. Player mode 9 works the same as team mode 1. Player mode 10 works the same as team mode 2.
