I don’t think it was the folder being almost full. That will only cause it to not be able to save. It won’t affect opening the files.
It may have been a folder permission restriction or something in the filenames. Unless you broke the steps out one at a time, impossible to say for sure.
Anyway, I would always use the CSV starter. It is way easier to do it that way anyway.
