****SOLVED**** the folder opening was going on a different screen on my desktop without showing up to me first- figured it out.

 

I uninstalled and reinstalled and it seemed like it was going to work, but when I clicked on the Source Folder it again went black without allowing me to make a selection and says “Waiting for Selection.”
