Okay so that is my guess why the issues started. Photoshop 27 demanded more and started crashing with the older GPUs.

Try reverting back to Photoshop 26 and let me know if it still crashes for you. (You can have both versions installed and just use Photoshop 26 just for batching, if you want).

Let’s verify if it has to do with the latest Photoshop update. Then if it works, stick with that for now.

As for computer recommendations if you want to upgrade, for Windows there are many options… you could just upgrade only the GPU alone for a 4090 or 5090. However I don’t think this is necessary yet. And recommendations for Mac, any Mac with an M4 chip. As mentioned before, let’s do the above first.
