The Adobe AI selection algorithm isn’t very good at complex sports equipment yet.  The plugin is really just an automation tool for the Adobe Ai so it won’t do any better than the Adobe selection can do on it’s own. It is best for people only images or images with simple sports equipment like bats.  It’s just not good at things like tennis rackets, lacrosse stick nets, etc.

How were you extracting rackets before?  Were yo actually using the replace Area button from version 4?  All of the feedback I got from users was that it was too confusing.  Most people said they just want a 1-clcik extraction and for anything that requires touchup they would rather outsource.

Just curious if you were using those buttons in version 4 for stuff like rackets???

I wouldn’t be opposed to bringing it back in if it is actually useful.  My personal opinion though is that for complex sports equipment, it still better just to outsource those.  There  are lots of pay per image online services that have better AI models than Adobe does…… but hoping that Adobe catches up one day.
