That would be my guess. I tried it all kinds of ways and it was the code I shared that worked.
I agree that the async nature of JavaScript development is hard. I come from a development background using Java in large enterprises and while the syntax is similar in a lot of ways the processing is VERY different. I had never done any React development prior to working on my plugin, decided to do that because Adobe is really pushing it. That was very different from the traditional html/css/js work I have done over the years but I am glad I took that on and learned it. No more getElementById for me.
Thanks again for your help with this. You are very kind to give up some of your valuable time for my little thing. This will be helpful to me on my next big sports team shoot.
