    7.0.1 is the slower running verison – Batch Mode.

    All images are 2000×3000.

    Same settings except for defringe.  Usually have that a 2px but for the screenshot I set it to auto.

     

    The “clear outside” seems to be the culprit even though I have it set it to “device” in PS settings.

    Mac Studio, M1 Max, 32gb RAM.  Restarted it for troubleshooting but had no success.
