It look like the same text layer Photoshop bug that I show in the video. I think you need to create a new text layer. However, DON’T resize the text by scaling it.  Instead, type in the text size in the tool bar to scale it. Then the issue won’t happen. You can copy the layer style from the old text layer to the new text layer which will make it easy to transfer the style.  Watch this video and I show how to do that.
