no it seems pretty random… I used mode 6 with the left verticle line positioned a little before the left edge of the template. Cropped all the same in post. Initially I used mode 5 but it was throwing them all over the template horizontally so I reran it with mode 6 which worked well, only 32 out of 756 or so had to be scaled by hand and it was because there was a ball toss or two subjects in the frame.
