A good test would also be to run a batch of older files that ran fine before. If the files fail then we know something on your computer has changes. If the files run fine and only the new school is failing then something with the files has changed.

My gut feeling is either the prefs file got corrupted in Photoshop or the graphics driver is out of date. Both are fairly common. Especially with the graphics driver,…. most people never update this until something breaks.
