It is the way Adobe designed the new plugins platform. Photoshop generally won’t throw any errors when something in the plugins fails. Adobe calls is “silent failure” and it is by design on their side. It is super annoying for me too because I would rather have it give errors because that makes troubleshooting issues easier. Any of the errors Pixnub now gives from checks that I programmed manually to run sequences to look for things. I have some more checks I want to implement but it will be impossible to have it check for everything it does….. plus it would slow the plugins down a lot.
Believe me, this is a huge pet peeve of mine too. However, I can’t control what Adobe does.
