Hi Mark,

This was done for 2 reasons….. First A lot of people kept asking to crop off the empty space.

Second, and even more importantly, this significantly reduced the scratch disk usage when running batches. Smart objects eat up a ton of scratch disk and by reducing the canvas size of the smart objects, it reduced the scratch disk usage. Photoshop doesn’t clear the scratch disk after closing each team. It just keeps adding to the pile. Scratch disk usage is by far the number one thing that causes issues for people. So reducing this was huge.

I can maybe look into having the cropping as optional. However, that couldn’t happen right away. So for now, can you just use EZ Team Builder 4. The download is still on the website.
