Does Photoshop crash at all when it freezes or it just freezes?
My first thought is that your scratch disk by get full around that time. Are you using a separate scratch disk when batching?
Next time you batch, check the activity monitor and take a screenshot of the CPU and Memory. If that’s not the issue, we’ll continue to troubleshoot from there.
