Juist FYI, Image Processor from bridge is actually running Photoshop, so the issue is still inside of PS.

It sounds like the process of flattening from the PSD to single layer during the saving might be when the color change happens.  My gut feeling is that resetting the Photoshop preferences might fix it. That often fixes these types of strange issue. In the PS prefs select Reset Preferences on quit.  Then restart PS and try again.

I don’t know for sure if this will fix it but I’ve seen resetting the prefs fix a lot of things. I’d give it 50/50 odds so it is the next most logical thing to try.
