It is possible but difficult to do. You would need the feet in the exact same location and exact same angle, etc for it to be repeatable.  SPA can line the bottom edge of the player to the red line but if the feet are not in the same rotation the it could be a problem. So posing everyone the exact same way is probably a key.

A better way may be to add the background layer in the template with a black mask and pre-brush white in the mask to add the grass in a layer above. The you wouldn’t have to run an action in the batch.

For sure, you would need to have you action stroke all the way across the bottom so if the feet didn’t line up left and right the it would still work. Don’t just record an action to brush a very specific foot location. That will certainly not work well.

Maybe with an advance action that makes a selection if the cutout, and stoke the selection, and erase the grass everywhere but the bottom…. really not sure just thinking hypothetically.

I know that Paul Alesse automates the grass over the feet and he uses the grass brushes. I really don’t know the exact method he uses however.
