It is because you selected the batch mode for “Cutouts”. The JPG file format doesn’t support transparency so you can’t save cutouts as jpg. If the images are cutouts then you need to select TIF, PNG, or WEBP. If the images are not cutout then select the option to batch for non-cutouts and you will be able to save as JPG. Click the home menu button and then click batch for non-cutouts.
